I’ll have a booth at the Urban Arts Festival next Saturday and I’m looking forward to it. Even though I didn’t have a booth at the festival last year, I did attend and had a good time. I like seeing what all of the fine folks at the Utah Arts Alliance put together.
This year will be a little different, with the opening of the Urban Arts Gallery last spring, and also a change in location… we’ll be celebrating this years festival at the Gateway.
I’ve gotten more inspiration from nature than anything else, but nature is everywhere. Even in the city ya cannot escape it. Flowers burst through the concrete cracks, and birds fly overhead, raccoon dumpster-divers.. I do love the city! And I love to be surprised by urban art while wandering through the city.
My artwork is still hanging at the UAA Main Street Gallery (check it out!), but I will still have a number of inexpensive posters, postcards, and drawings. Be sure to come on down. Music, artwork, poetry and dance… can’t beat it!
