When we arrive at the Cedron Brook, I kneel and begin to pray—an intercessory prayer for my disciples:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you. I have glorified you on the earth. I have finished the work you have given me to do. I will no longer be in the world; but these, my disciples, are in the world. Holy Father, sanctify them through your truth. Your word is truth. Amen.”
